BASIC CONCEPTS PROGRAMME IN THE NAMAQUALAND
At the end of the 2007 school year Dr. Benjamin carried out evaluation of all learners in the three Grade 1 classes and also benchmarked the results against two comparable schools in the region not using the Basic Concepts Porgramme. The results were astonishing, with the learners in our schools being way ahead of their peers in the benchmark schools. As a result the Northern Cape Education Department are planning to implement the Basic Concepts Programme in 45 schools (throughout the Northern Cape).
