Ikwezi: Record of School Visits (2010-2012)
Part of the Project
20 teachers at 8 primary schools and 5 ECD Centres have received classroom support over a period of three years. Each teacher received one visit per quarter in both 2010 and 2011 and two visits per quarter during the first semester of 2012, which add up to a total of 12 class visits per teacher over the three-year period.
The visits have been conducted by Tami Mhlati (Project Coordinator) and at times she has been accompanied by Louis Benjamin.
An observation instrument has been used to monitor and give feedback to teachers (Observation of Teacher Mediation Sheet).
A School Visit Report has been completed after each round of classroom support.
