Kamiesberg Project: Graduation of Teachers
Part of the Project
On 13 November 2008 a Graduation Ceremony was held at the Kamieskroon Hotel for teachers who had succesfully implemented the Basic Concepts Programme under supervision from 2006-2008.
This was a wonderful occassion to reflect on and celebrate the outstanding successes of the teachers who participated in this project.
Not only did the project teachers receive certificates, but Dr Benjamin was also awarded a certificate by the ECD Unit in Namaqua District for his contribution during the project.
The graduation was attended by community members, district officials, teachers, and principals from the project schools as well as a delegation from Rotary Waterfront Branch in Cape Town.
