Metro Central: Poster Presentation For IACESA International Conference (2008)

A full description of the Metro Central Basic Concepts project and an interim evaluation were presented in the form of a poster at the IACESA Conference, 2008. See Research Poster, 2008 below.
The interim evaluation of the project by the Metro (See Internal Evaluation, 2008) showed that by the end of Grade 1 the mean scores of the intervention learners were in the average range. This was in contrast to their scores at the start of the year which had been in the weak to very weak range.
