A majority (69%) of learners who participated in the BCP in 2011 in Grade R were found to be prepared for learning in Grade 1 in 2012 - See image below.
The test data include results from the Test of Basic Concepts Knowledge (TBCK) as well as from Aptitude Test for School Beginners (ASB).
