Northern Cape Project: Plans for 2023
We look forward to next year and the continuation of the BC Advocacy Project in the Northern Cape.
The following three programmes have been confirmed with the Northern Cape Department of Education:-

Phase 1* will be extended by an additional 30 teachers

Phase 2 will be extended by an additional 30 teachers

Trainers-of-Trainers to be initiated in three districts (Pixely Ka Seme, John Taolo Gaetsewe and Namaqua Districts) to about 60 teachers
The project has started to shift gears from being more reliant on the BC Lead Team to assisting the DoE to take a more leading role as they prepare for the extension of the BCP to all Grade R practitioners in the Province.
*Note: These teachers to be included in the trainer of trainers.
