Namaqua Education District (Phase 2): Seventh Visit to the Project, October 2017

Final Visit to Project

This visit will have three main components-

1. Graduation ceremony

The teachers and officials who have attended the training and implemented the programme will receive certificates. The event will also provide an opportunity to showcase the skills and knowledge gained during the project.

2. Officials present their knowledge of the programme

9 provincial officials will be visiting the project for the 4th time and will be given an opportunity to deliver their final presentations about the project. It is envisaged that some officials might deliver their presentations at the graduation ceremony.

3. Teacher mentoring by provincial officials

The provincial officials will be accompanied by the project leader and officials from the Namaqua District to do mentoring visits inside the classrooms. The officials will meet in the afternoons to present feedback about their visits to the teachers. By the end of the visit, the officials woud be officially be trained as mentors of the BCP.

We also hope to collect some evaluative feedback during the visit from the teachers and officials who have participated in the project.
