Etafeni: Project Context
Part of the Project
The Etafeni Day Care Centre is situated in Nyanga, Cape Town, and provides community-based care for AIDS-affected and vulnerable children from the area. Nyanga is one of the oldest and poorest black townships in Cape Town. It is also the most dangerous suburb in Cape Town, having one of the highest murder rates in the world.
