Description

The primary goal of the Focus School is to introduce dedicated BCP interventions to schools in various communities, catering primarily to learners from disadvantaged backgrounds.

The role of teacher-mediators at these sites is not only to deliver high-quality, focused, short-term interventions to learners but also to establish a sustainable and ongoing intervention program at these schools, extending to nearby schools.

Focus Schools receives special support, advanced training, tracking, feedback, and evaluation from the Basic Concepts Foundation.

Evaluation

Integral to the Focus School initiative is supporting schools in evaluating the intervention process from initiation to completion.

The Basic Concepts Foundation (BCF) plays a crucial role in screening, conducting pre-assessments, and establishing BCP intervention groups at the designated sites.

Additionally, we offer continuous feedback to the sites regarding the effectiveness of the interventions and aid in generating reportbacks on learner progress.

Lastly, we provide assistance in post-assessment and measuring improvements in learners' progress.
